01 / Scope

What this policy covers

This policy describes information handled by the minimal effort iPhone app, this support website, and support email. “minimal effort,” “we,” and “us” refer to the developer who operates them.

02 / Local app data

Information stored on your iPhone

The app can store:

• Workout dates, times, names, notes, exercises, sets, weight, repetitions, duration, and distance.
• Workout plans, planned exercises, schedule state, and completion state.
• Body weight and body-fat measurements that you enter.
• Unit, theme, haptic, onboarding, and quick weight-step preferences.
• Active workout timer and Live Activity state.

The app does not send this diary data to the developer. It does not use HealthKit. Stored data remains until you edit or delete it, delete all app data, or remove the app. An iPhone backup can include app data under your Apple backup settings and Apple’s terms.

03 / Live Activity

Information shown by iOS

When a workout is active, minimal effort can provide the workout name, timer state, current exercise, set count, rest end time, and selected theme to iOS for the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. This information is used for the system activity and is not sent to the developer by the app.

04 / Support website

Cloudflare processing

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. When you open it, Cloudflare can process an IP address, request headers, timestamps, security signals, and other network information needed to deliver and protect the site. This site has no JavaScript, advertising, analytics scripts, account system, or contact form.

Cloudflare handles information under its Privacy Policy.

05 / Support email

Information you choose to send

If you email support, the message can include your email address, message, attachments, and technical details you choose to provide. Google processes the email service under its Privacy Policy. Do not send passwords, payment information, health records, or other sensitive information that is not needed to answer your request.

06 / Use and sharing

Why support information is used

Support information is used to answer requests, investigate defects, improve the app, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. It can be processed by Cloudflare for website delivery and Google for email. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking.

07 / Retention and deletion

Your controls

You can edit individual workout records and measurements in the app. Settings also provides Delete all data for workouts, plans, and body measurements on the iPhone. Support email is kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, keep support records, protect the service, or meet legal obligations.

To request access, correction, or deletion of support email, contact flowstatecoders@gmail.com. We can ask you to verify the request.

08 / Security

How information is protected

The support site uses HTTPS and restrictive browser security headers. The app keeps its diary in local iOS storage. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

09 / Children

General fitness app

minimal effort is a general fitness diary and is not designed to collect information from children. A parent or guardian should contact support for a child and should not include unnecessary personal information.

10 / Changes

Policy updates

This policy can change when app features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date and version at the top of this page will be updated. Material changes will be communicated through a suitable channel when required.
